A Little Scottish Heritage, a Little Masonic History, and Some Free Water!
Mount Zion Lodge #10 will be joining the festivities at the Arkansas Scottish Festival at Lyon College on Saturday, October 24th, and we'd love for you to stop by!
We'll be at our tent from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, offering:
Complimentary bottled water — because even Scottish heritage is better enjoyed when properly hydrated.
Masonic artifacts and historical items — a chance to see a little of the history and tradition of Freemasonry.
Information about Freemasonry — what we do, what we stand for, and how to become involved.
Conversations with actual Masons — hear stories and experiences directly from members of Mount Zion Lodge.
A bit of Masonic history: Freemasonry has deep historical connections to Scotland. The Lodge of Edinburgh (Mary's Chapel) No. 1 possesses lodge minutes dating to 1599, among the oldest surviving records of their kind.
Whether you've been curious about Masonry for years, have family connections to the fraternity, or simply want to learn what those fellows with the Square and Compasses are all about, we'd be delighted to visit with you.
No secret handshake required to stop by. In fact, we'll even give you water without one.
